Horse/pony not to have been placed 1 st in any One Day Event.

Dressage tests can be obtained from the Entries Secretary on receipt of a stamped addressed envelope and payment of 5Op

THE COMPETITION IS OPEN TO SENIORS AND JUNIORS (8 - 17 YEARS), HOWEVER, JUNIOR RIDERS MUST BE A MEMBER OF A RIDING CLUB AFFILIATED TO THE BRITISH RIDING CLUB MOVEMENT. PLEASE STATE CLUB NAME WHEN ENTERING A JUNIOR RIDER.

Entries will be taken as received and a waiting list kept. In the event of excess entries, a ballot will be held. Early entries are recommended.
There will be no refund of entry fees for withdrawals after 30th August 2005 unless space can be filled.

Rosettes to 10th place, Special rosette to the highest placed SOVRC Member in each class. The course may be walked from 6pm Friday 9th September. The Course will be timed. Stopwatches will not be allowed.

RULES

• All persons attending the event do so at their own risk and neither the Committee nor the Land Owners accept. responsibility for any accident, loss or damage to any person, horse or property how so ever caused. The Organisers reserve the right to amalgamate, split or amend classes as required.
• To be judged under 2005 Riding Club rules for One Day Event, with amendments a copy of which will be available at the Secretary's caravan.
• The judge's decision is final.
• Hats to at least EN1384, PASO 15 or prefixed with ASTM or SEI must be worn at all times while mounted, with a harness properly adjusted and fastened.
• A body protector is compulsory for jumping, and recommended that it is Worn outside clothing. Medical armbands are strongly recommended.
• No entry will be accepted without the full entry fee.
• In the event of any delay on the day due to unforeseen circumstances no refund will be made.
• In the event of an objection a £10 deposit is to be paid within 10 minutes of the result being posted. If an objection is upheld the deposit will be refunded.
• To qualify as a SOVRC Member, subscriptions must be paid by the closing date.
• Anyone failing to comply with the Rules or Health and Safety Policy will be asked to withdraw.

HEALTH AND SAFETY

All who attend the event are responsible for ensuring that they conduct themselves so that they do not put themselves or am one else at risk.

Vehicles must be parked so as not to cause obstruction.

Members of the public are requested to keep clear of horse areas and to avoid behaviour which may alarm horses.

Dogs must be kept on leads at all times.
