CLASS 1 RESTRICTED NOVICE

Approx. height 2’ 6” – 2’ 9”

For horse/pony rider combination which have not been placed 1st, 2nd or 3rd in any Hunter Trial or Horse Trial

Entry fee: £10

Rosettes to sixth place

CLASS 2 OPEN NOVICE

Approx. height 2’ 6” – 2’ 9”

Rosettes to sixth place

CLASS 3 OPEN PAIRS

To be run over the Novice course. Approx. Height 2’ 6” – 2’ 9”

Entry fee: £18 per pair
Prizes to 3rd place
Rosettes to sixth place

CLASS 4 MINIMUS PAIRS

Approx. height 2’ 3”

CLASS 5 MINIMUS

A special rosette will be awarded to the best BHRC member in each class.

RULES

  1. Entries close on Monday 12 th September. Entries forwarded without fees will be charged an extra £2.
  2. All competitors must wear a body protector (A/NZS 3838 1998, SNELL E2001, PAS 015, EN1354) while mounted.
  3. All competitors must wear an approved hat to a current British Standard. While mounted.
  4. Medical armbands are required to be worn.
  5. Long hair must be tied up for safety and also so that jump judges can see bib numbers.
  6. The judges decision is final
  7. The Organisers and Blackdown Hills Cross Country SHALL NOT be li-able for any claims in respect of loss, injury or damage incurred by any person(s), animal(s) or any property, however caused.
  8. No fences, other than those marked for the purpose, may be used for practise.
  9. A £5 DEPOSIT will be charged for numbers
  10. A £2 charge per rider will be made towards the cost of the First Aid facilities.
  11. The organisers have the right to refuse any entry or ask a competitor to withdraw at any time.
  12. Competitors are responsible for contacting the Secretary if there is any doubt about the event taking place due to adverse weather or ground conditions.
  13. Dogs must be kept on a lead at all times.
