Hunter Trial - 20 March.

On Sunday 20th March, East Devon Hunt Supporters will be hosting a huntertrial in the Blackdown Hills. We've been working furiously to get it all in place and have even managed to draw some of David Evans' team away from their work on the Bicton Horse Trials course to help get things ready. It promises to be a very good course - and there's good prize money on offer.

Here are some recent pictures of some jumps that they're working on - a huge sunken road complex and Mike alongside the ditch-palisade. These are just 2 jumps in the competition which will have 3 courses - approx 2'3, approx 2'6-2'9 and approx 3'-3'3.

Entries close next week so send your entry to the Entries Secretary now.

Event Horse Owners Association Clinic with Clissy Bleekman

On Monday this week, British Eventing Accreditted Trainer, Clissy Bleekman came to teach for the day at the EHOA training clinic.

Once the ice had been broken on the water complex, a good day was had by all with plenty of action to keep riders warm.

Both Clissy and the riders of all levels (from Intro to members of the UK Young Rider Squad) were very complimentary about the course - from the all-weather landings and take offs to the wide variety of fences and water complex with "so many ways through it".

Clissy will be running another training day on Wednesday March 30th - call her on 01884 32274 for availability.
